Band Director
Mr. Guzman began his music career at Princess Anne High School, where he was a guard member, percussionist, and bass trombonist. He studied bass, trombone, and flute in Richmond, Virginia, at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he graduated in 2021 with a degree in Music Education. While attending VCU, Mr. Guzman was a member of the trombone choir, symphony orchestra, symphonic wind ensemble, and jazz orchestras. He was also the assistant conductor and brass coordinator for the Richmond Symphony Youth Concert Orchestra in their 2018 and 2019 seasons. Mr. Guzman has served as a guard, brass, percussion, and visual technician in the Richmond area for the past five years at programs like Clover Hill and Atlee High School. Vincent acted as an Associate Director of the Princess Anne High School Fabulous Marching Cavaliers in 2021. Mr. Guzman is also a trombonist in the Richmond-based Latin-Funk band Los Malcriados. | |
